Acapulco Gold- Sunny Place for Shady People

September 11th, 2007    Posted in Acapulco Gold

I really like this t-shirt. It comes in red and white. Acapulco Gold came from Mexico and it seemed to of died out since the day of the Columbian Drug Cartel, but who really cares, it’s just a shirt. I’d like to think of Acapulco Gold from a brand stand point of things I don’t wanna cross the border from Mexico to USA in a loaded down UHAUL truck. In some prime Mexican plants isn’t on the top of that list, let me tell you. Now with the verbage you see why we are talking about sunny places for shady people.

Skate Mental – No Broke Hoes

September 10th, 2007    Posted in Skate Mental, Skateboarding

Skate Mental is a HILARIOUS company that clearly has a great sense of humor. They make odd skateboards with sharks and half eaten legs, cats in front of houses on fire standing on piles of money. Pretty much anything with a touch of class can be found on their boards. This shirt says it all, Broke Hoes is a No No. This guy that in the image cracks me up too. Check this out, haha.

New York City Subway Hoodie

September 9th, 2007    Posted in Misc.

In my endless search for some nice winter wear I actually found something in Times Square. I was out of town for the weekend and trying to waste some time before a flight out of Newerk. A friend was looking for those token NYC gifts and I started walking through a huge little memorabilia store. I found these zip up hoodies that are screen prints of either the Brooklyn or Manhattan subway systems. They are 12 color screen prints and the subway winds across the back and hood. I didn’t end up buying one but another day…I did find them online if you dig around for a minute. Comes in brown, white, and black.

Matix- Hollywood High School

September 8th, 2007    Posted in Matix, Skateboarding

If you know about skateboarding in Los Angeles then you know about the Hollywood High stairs. I’m glad Matix slapped together a little tee about this place because I’ve seen some CRAZY stuff in videos on these stairwells. You can find them the Hollywood High stairwell in these videos; Misled Youth, The Storm, Baker2g, The End, Dying To Live, Yeah Right, This Is Skateboarding etc., and more. This shirt is paying homage to the sick spot. The school contains a 12-stair and 16-stair with perfect railings and a perfect landing spot. The 12 stair has a gate about 15-20 feet from the bottom of the stairwell.

King Stampede Pryamids

September 7th, 2007    Posted in King Stampede

This King Stampede shirt comes from the Summer line and has an old school look with pyramids falling down the front side of the shirt. I haven’t liked this one enough to pick it up but it still works as another quality and creative product from King Stampede. The shirt is available in black and has a King Stampede logo vertically listed on the lower right side of the tee. Can King Stampede’s fall line come out already?

Rogue Status Moneyshot

September 6th, 2007    Posted in Rogue Status

This logo has been synonymise with Rogue Status in my head for  ages. When you visit their site and blog this sad face showsup in your address bar next to the site. They have the logo buried around the site and blog as well. This should be mandatory for all Target employee’s. It’s like the evil cousin of the Walmart happy face that floats around and discount stupid things you don’t really need but your gonna buy because your in Walmart and it’s such a great deal. See this shirt stands for freedom and my right to choose which evil conglomerate retailer I wish to spend my non hard earned dollars. Okay maybe not but it’s another solid release in the Fall 07 line by Rogue Status. Oh and the online store of Rogue Status has Gun Shows shirts in stock and the Diamond Supply Company collab. gun show shirt. Better run now, direct link is over in the blogroll.

SinFul Things: Joyce Lex – Gangsta – Spring 2008

September 5th, 2007    Posted in Drifting, Sinful Things

I know Joyce Lex from her stint in Drifting as a model for Falken Tires. Antonio made me familiar with her line a while back and I just came across the Spring 2008 line! She has a shirt called “Gangsta” with Joyce Lex in a pinup dress holding an old school gun. The theme is very 1950’s and very sick! I cannot wait for this shirt to drop so I can pick it up.

Seventh Letter Splatter Zip-up Hoodie

September 4th, 2007    Posted in Seventh Letter

I snagged this hoodie for a nice price online. I was bummed when I first saw it on Digital Gravel but it was sold out. Most designers go so wrong in the hoodie department it was nice to find something simple and fresh. It’s just some cool paint splatter on a black zip-up. Props to Seventh Letter for not trying to outshine themselves and make a wack product. The seventh letter is G by the way, I had to figure that out using my hands to count down the alphabet. All this college is definitely paying off.

The Hundreds: The Porch Life

September 3rd, 2007    Posted in The Hundreds

This is available as a hoodie and t-shirt. The shirt comes in three colors white, black, and caribean blue. This is one of my favorites for Fall 2007 line out of the Hundreds. It reminds me of the life I dream of and where I wanna be all day. In fact, where I live I don’t even have a porch but if I could just live the porch life I would be made! I need to step up this Internet business so I can just count my paypal money online with a laptop and live on the porch.

Rogue Status: Magic Shirt (Art of Deception)

September 2nd, 2007    Posted in Rogue Status

I know everyone knows Rogue Status from Rob & Big on MTV and the now overly famous Gun Show style but I actually picked up my first RS shirt way off the gun show map. It’s an awesome shirt in the Fall 07 line called Magic. I’ll review more of the Fall 07 line later but I have a feeling the Arlington shirt will be a big hit, but once again not quite my style. Here is the Magic shirt, “The Art of Deception” is written on the back across the shoulder blade area. I actually picked the shirt up in a blue color from Krudmart up in Buffalo, New York.
