Nigo Talks Love Life/Nike/Hip Hop/Blogs & More

November 10th, 2008    Posted in A Bathing Ape

Complex caught up with Nigo for their November 2008 issue and got the Japanese designer to talk about subjects that he had not talked about ever before in interviews. Turns out Nigo has a girlfriend since three years, never reads blogs and thinks that Bape gets knocked-off just as much as people talk about them knocking off Nike.

Bape Fall/Winter 2008 Collection | More October Releases

October 14th, 2008    Posted in A Bathing Ape

Bape has released some new items as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. We like a lot the general trend of Bape coming back to some more classic pieces, that stand out because of quality rather than in-your-face design. This delivery has a bit of both, with the cut & sew taking the bigger portion. Some nice plaid blazers, madras patchwork shirts, classic oxfords and Bapesta “Trail” pack are part of the latest releases. Their full zip panda hoodie got a make-over and comes this season in fleece.

A Bathing Ape 2008 Fall/Winter Bapesta

October 11th, 2008    Posted in A Bathing Ape

For their 2008 fall/winter collection, A Bathing Ape drops a set of Bapesta’s, very familiar to the previously released suede Roadsta models. Featuring a tonal leather upper, the kicks come in five different colorways including contrasting work boot-esque laces. The set is now available at Bape flagship stores world wide. Looks like the shoelaces from a pair of timberlands, still very clean color.
